Biography
Susan is a lyric soprano who can adapt to higher mezzo roles.  She gained a B A Honours Degree in Music awarded by The University of Bath and is also a Licentiate of The Royal Academy of Music, London.  She also holds the Advanced Certificate of the Royal Schools of Music and the CTABRSM teaching diploma. 

Having enjoyed a broad career in performance and education, she has held the post of Director of Music at both Grittleton House School and St Margaret's Preparatory School, Calne.  She is now a freelance Soprano soloist and vocal coach at Stonar School, Atworth, Wiltshire.

Susan's has an extensive knowledge of the operatic and oratorio repertoire and details of the many roles she has performed and studied can be viewed on her Repertoire pages.

She has sung at many venues in the UK and Europe. In 2007 she was invited to sing at the Cathedral of St. Mary, Gibraltar as part of a celebration of sacred music.  She has since been invited to return as part of the professional vocal ensemble Opera Sulis, who are based in the Roman city of Bath (Aqua Sulis).  She has also performed as soprano soloist in premieres of new works by contemporary British composers including Sean Gregory, Nicholas Goodall, George Odam and Nick Atkinson.

Susan has appeared as guest soloist with the world famous Treorchy Male Choir and Ynysowen Male Choir on many occasions and has also worked with many established instrumentalist and singing professionals.  She is a well-qualified musician who can learn new music at speed.

Susan is a versatile performer who is equally at home on the concert platform, in Opera/Oratorio and in recital.  She is also available for corporate events and weddings.
